As CEO and founder of MSI, Timm has set the strategic vision and direction for the company since its inception in 1981. As an internationally recognized figure in the relocation industry, Runnion’s leadership has propelled MSI to a distinctive position in the industry: an independent, non-asset-based company providing exemplary service to U.S. and global clients of all sizes.
As a serial entrepreneur, Timm founded numerous successful companies in mortgage, duty reclamation, logistics, manufacturing, and marketing services. He has also authored numerous articles on U.S. and global mobility. A Certified Relocation Professional® (CRP), he received the 2007 Meritorious Service Award from the Worldwide Employee Relocation Council® (ERC). He also is an active member of the ERC’s U.S. Advisory Committee.
Timm holds memberships in the Massachusetts Movers Association, the American Moving and Storage Association, the Transportation Intermediaries Association, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Forum, and the Forum for Entrepreneurial Excellence.
He is a participant in INC. Magazine's prestigious Birthing of Giants program for young entrepreneurs, founders, and owners of growing companies and serves on the Board of Directors at Easter Seals of New Hampshire.
