Would you guess that 83% of US adults have a cell phone of some kind, and 42% of those are smartphones? That’s the case, according to a study by the Pew Research Center. I’m an iPhone owner, and admittedly, slightly obsessed with finding cool apps that make life a little easier. If your relocating transferees are smartphone owners, they may be too. What better way to assist them through the arduous process of moving, than by suggesting some practical apps, designed to help them feel more prepared and organized for their move.
U-Pack Moving recently posted an infographic featuring apps that your relocating transferees may find very helpful—Top 10 iPhone and iPad Property Apps. These apps encompass tasks like analyzing mortgage-related queries, finding your dream property, decorating your home, budgeting, keeping track of bills and even planning a garden. My favorite on the list is MyTown. Though it’s not technically an app that’s designed to help with their move, it will certainly take their mind off of it for a while! It’s a property management game, similar to Monopoly where you get to buy buildings in real-life locations. Currently over 3.3 million play it!
Of course, these apps are just scratching the surface. Since app technology expands every day, no doubt there are hundreds of others your transferees would find useful. Search topics like moving, budgeting, real estate and decorating and see what you can find—you may discover some they can’t live without! Be sure to share your favorites!
